Ableton
Ableton has announced that Live 9.1.5 or higher is compatible with Yosemite. Also compatible is the latest version of Max for Live (6.1.9).
They have also stated that since Live 8 is a legacy version, there are no plans to update it further and is not officially tested or supported on Yosemite (although it may run). If you choose to use Live 8 with Yosemite, you do so on your own accord.
There are some known issues with the use of 32-bit VST plug-ins concerning the GUI of the affected plug-in. For more information, see Ableton’s Yosemite Compatibility statement here.

Allen & Heath
Here is Allen & Heath’s current statement on Yosemite:
In anticipation of the launch of Apple’s latest update to the Mac OS X Operating System (10.10 ‘Yosemite’), please note the following:
The correct operation of the full, public release of this platform is not yet verified by our development and test departments. As a result, support for OS X Yosemite is not currently offered for Allen & Heath digital hardware, software applications, or third-party proprietary software used with our product ranges.
We cannot confirm a date for providing support for this platform at present, but note that full software testing and verification will commence following the official launch by Apple.
As our test programmes are completed we will update this notice.
We hope this helps.

Apogee
Apogee has released drivers and control software that is compatible with OS X Yosemite for many of the products on their current product line. You can download the most recent software here. If yours hasn’t been updated yet, check back soon.

Avid
Avid does not support Yosemite for any of their products at this time EXCEPT for Sibelius 7.1.3 and 7.5. See here for more information.

Celemony
Here’s Celemony’s official Yosemite statement:
Apple published OS X 10.10 Yosemite. Our tests have shown that Melodyne editor, assistant, essential and also Melodyne studio 3 run without any problem on the new operating system. If you use Melodyne as a plugin, please check whether your DAW is already compatible with Yosemite before updating to the new system.

Focusrite
Focusrite has stated that all of their products EXCEPT the RedNet interfaces are compatible with Yosemite. You can view their compatibility page here.

iZotope
Due to changes within Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, Stutter Edit is currently not supported. Stutter Edit is still compatible with the latest version of OS X 10.9 however.

There are currently no known issues with iZotope’s other current products and Mac OS X Yosemite. Testing with this new version of OS X is ongoing, and some issues may arise that may require a software update.

If you do run into any OS X 10.10-specific issues, iZotope has requested that you contact iZotope Support directly.

Line 6
Line 6 has updated their product line for compatibility with Yosemite. You can download updated drivers and software here.

M-Audio
M-Audio is working on providing updated drivers for their products to comply with Yosemite. They will update the product page for each product as it be comes updated to work with Yosemite. You can also request to be notified about your product at this link.
For more information, see this article from M-Audio.

Make Music
Make Music has qualified the following products for use on Yosemite:
• Finale 2014
• PrintMusic 2014
• NotePad 2014
Their tests have not revealed any major issues. There are a couple of minor issues they have encountered including:
• Pinch to zoom may be slower, especially in Scroll View
• When changing between tools with a dedicated menu (Staff tool, Expression tool, Chord Tool, etc.), the menu bar may not update right away. Redrawing the screen (COMMAND+D) will fix this.
• Users may encounter a warning that Java Runtime must be installed when launching notation programs for the first time. Java will be automatically downloaded to your computer and the program should open correctly afterwards.
Older software will not be supported. For the full statement from Make Music, please see this article.

Motu (updated 10/22/14)
Official statement from MOTU:
Apple released OS X® Yosemite this week. MOTU has worked with Apple to ensure current MOTU products are compatible with OS X Yosemite, and to provide a smooth transition for your MOTU products when you upgrade to OS X Yosemite.
The latest versions of all MOTU software and audio/MIDI hardware drivers available at motu.com/download(including several driver updates posted this week) appear to be compatible with OS X Yosemite, although compatibility testing is still on-going. In some cases, MOTU software updates may be available soon to achieve 100% compatibility. Check motu.com frequently for further announcements in the near future.

Native Instruments (updated 8/22/14)
An update from Native Instruments:
Native Instruments has conducted compatibility tests with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite which have shown current NI products to work without any specific issues under standard installations of this operating system.
However, products with a hardware dependency, such as Maschine, Komplete Kontrol, Traktor, Guitar Rig and Controller Editor will not launch when AVIDs CoreAudioManager/Drivers are installed under 10.10 Yosemite. Native Instruments and Avid are working together to resolve this compatibility issue.
Native Instruments is currently conducting further systematic compatibility and performance tests with the release version of Yosemite, and will provide new information as it becomes available.

PreSonus (updated 10/22/14):
PreSonus has qualified the following products for use with Yosemite:
• FaderPort
• Studio One 2.6.3
• Notion 5
• Notion Conducting
• Classic StudioLive 24.4.2, 16.4.2, 16.0.2 and FireStudio Project, FireStudio Mobile, FireStudioTube and FireStudio Lightpipe with Universal Control 1.7.2
The following products are still under testing:
• Capture 2.0
• Room Control
PreSonus is also aware of the following problems and are working hard to resolve them:
• Recording audio with the StudioLive 32.4.2AI, 24.4.2 AI and 16.4.2AI is currently not possible on Yosemite when using Universal Control AI 1.0.2.28882 as the mixers are not seen by Audio MIDI Setup as an audio device. However, control of the AI consoles is still possible using this version of Universal Control AI
• Recording Audio with a StudioLive RM Series Mixer using Universal Control AI 1.5.0.23933 or 1.5.0.29624 is currently not possible as it cannot be seen by Audio MIDI Setup as an audio device. However, control of the mixer is still possible using UC Surface.
• AudioBox USB, 22VSL, 44VSL, 1818VSL, iOne and iTwo with AudioBox VSL 1.3 will not display or use control panel until the device is hot-plugged (meaning pull the USB cable and plug it back in).
Please check back for further updates. You can view their statement here.

Propellerhead
Initial testing of the new Mac OS X Yosemite has not revealed any problems with the latest versions of Reason (version 7.1.1 and 8), Reason Essentials (version 2.1.1 and 8), ReCycle (version 2.2.4) or the Balance audio interface.

RME
RME has released driver version 2.03 for their USB interfaces including the Fireface UFX, 902, UCX, UC, Babyface, MADIface Xt and MADIface USB. This update fixes crackling and stutter effects on OS 10.10 Yosemite. It also includes other bug fixes. You can download the driver here.

Roland
Roland has posted a compatibility chart declaring which hardware drivers have been updated for Yosemite. You can view the chart here.
Please note that Rapture LE, SI-Drum Kit, and Cakewalk Sound Center will not work on Yosemite.

Sonnox
A message from Sonnox:
Compatibility testing of Sonnox G5 plug-in software with OS X 10.10 ‘Yosemite” has so far shown no specific issues in Yosemite-compatible host DAWs.
We are aware that not all DAWs are yet confirmed compatible with OSX 10.10 Yosemite, but we will conduct further compatibility and performance testing as necessary, and make further announcements in due course.

Steinberg (updated 8/22/2014)
An update from Steinberg:
Currently we cannot recommend Steinberg customers to update to OS X 10.10 Yosemite. While we ensured that installers of our current product range were compatible with Yosemite from the start, we have been receiving sporadic user feedback regarding issues when running under Apple’s new operating system since its public release last week. This information is currently being evaluated through our quality assurance team; in case you rely heavily on a seamless operation of our products we ask you to postpone the Yosemite update until we have published our product compatibility chart.

Universal Audio
A message from Universal Audio:
At this time, the new Apple hardware products and OS X Yosemite have not yet been fully tested by Universal Audio.
UA will, of course, endeavor to fully test these new products as soon as possible and will post further information as it becomes available.
Initial tests of OS X Yosemite and UAD software have detected no major issues. However, this testing has not been comprehensive and there may be other issues to consider before upgrading to OS X Yosemite in the near future.
Known Issues
Some relatively minor graphics issues with UAD software have been reported. These issues generally don’t prohibit use of the software and will be addressed in a UAD future release.
Thunderbolt 2 Compatibility
All Universal Audio Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 devices are compatible with both Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 ports, so we do not anticipate any issues with the new iMac with Retina 5K display or the new Mac mini which now feature Thunderbolt 2 ports.

Waves (updated 10/23/14)
An update from Waves:
We are pleased to announce that all Waves Native plugins V9 as well as the Waves License Center are now fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
Please note: SoundGrid plugins and software applications are not yet supported by Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. We are working to resolve this compatibility issue as soon as possible.
Waves has also included a fix for anyone who had installed Waves plug-ins on a Yosemite-equipped Mac. You can download that fix as well as the Offline installer if you have not yet installed your Waves plug-ins here (the offline installer is required to install Waves plug-ins on Yosemite).

Zoom
Zoom has issued the following statement regarding Yosemite:
It has been confirmed that glitch noise is produced when you use the TAC-2/TAC-2R under Mac OS X Yosemite (v10.10), which was formally released from Apple Inc. on October 16th. Sorry for the inconvenience, but please do not update your Mac OS to the latest version (v10.10) for the time being if you use the TAC-2/TAC-2R.
